A chemistry professor from Sri Ventakeswara University was banned for accused of plagiarizing more than 70 research papers. The professor copied all the articles and presented them as they were written by him. The University banned him from conducting any research guidance.



3. Blatant plagiarism by Rajput

Stanford University sent a letter to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in the year 2002 about Prof. B S Rajput's plagiarized work. He was a physicist and then the Vice-chancellor of Kumaon University in Uttrakhand. Rajput had copied the entire paper written by RenataKallosh. The professor requested the president to look into the matter and investigate it at the earliest.



4. KavyaViswanathan was accused of plagiarism

Her first novel i.e. How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild, and Got a Life was found to be very similar to writer Megan McCafferty’s book Sloopy First and Second Helpings. However, she claimed that this was not done deliberately and the similarities were unintentional. Her movie deal and other book contracts were canceled due to this.
